Where Did I Go Wrong?

I got some critique from a helpful deviant on here so I did some MAJOR changes on this. I hope it looks better than before. It is better than before but I am always looking for help and critique on this! Art is never finished; there is always something more you could add to make it better.

Gah! I spent like....literally 10 hours on this. xAx You may not think because the lines aren't that clean blah blah but my program is more for sketches and rough paintings than clean lines.... Whatever, now about the picture.

This is Horatio. The son of Xian and Axtin.
Long story short, they fucked up in their lives. And Ray had to suffer the consequences of their mistakes. He hasn't seen Axtin since he was a baby, and he had to be strung along in his mother's affairs. A deserter for a father and a whore for a mother...
But even then, he still loves them and never stops thinking about them.
The drawing was made when he was 5, before moving to Tranquil Town, where he currently stays with Xian, now 17.
The headphones is a gift from Axtin, given at 10, though not in person. Xian found it in Axtin's old room at Organization Twilight.
The shades...are not his._{Gah he looks so much like him with them on.}



About the whole Paopu fruit and the intertwining of destinies...well it's plain as day that Xian and Axtin won't ever be together again...but I understand now that their destiny was to have such a wonderful little boy as a son. At times I feel like I don't deserve to have Ray. And some of you might agree with that...

Oh well. Just an emotional piece of Ray and his innermost thoughts and wishes.
